Caged received a Scholastic New York Regional silver key, and self-published in a printed collaborative anthology, Lost and Found, That Thing You Cherished.
Killing Time
“Killing Time” centers on Sunny, a Generation X Taiwanese American, who faces a tragic accident that results in severe amnesia. As she navigates the challenges of her new reality, without any recollection of her husband or child, she is unexpectedly transported back to her vibrant teenage years in the 1980s by a mysterious being after wishing to relive her memories. Finding herself in the body of a seventeen-year-old, Sunny reconnects with her high school friends, only to discover that they are trapped in a time loop where a malevolent force kills them each time. Determined to escape, Sunny battles to find a way out while uncovering the lost memories of her past.
